Overview
The Equiva is a hotel that strives to offer functionality while using very little space, combining  office with home for short term stays. The hotel targets a growing class of  digital nomads that often need to travel for meetings and collaborative work sessions. Through The Equiva mobile app, guests are given the freedom to personalize their stay in the comforts of their room.
Approach
The name of the hotel is rooted from the word "equivalence,” a synonym for "balance." I wanted the name to subtly represent the idea of balancing your work life from leisure. The Gotham typeface has simple architectural qualities while the stretched letters in the logo represent the transforming amenities in the design of the hotel's structure. The minimal  black and white color palette  reflect on  the idea of simplicity.
THE EQUIVA’S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A MEMORABLE YET EFFORTLESS SERVICE FOR THEIR GUESTS AND MAINTAIN A MINIMALISTIC, EXCLUSIVE IMAGE TO THRIVE IN AND FOR THE FUTURE.
The societal changes of the current distancing mandate has developed new direction for goods and services. My solution  was to switch from a face-to-face interaction to a  contact-free service.

I designed a mobile app that provides  convenience and functionality for guests, with features such as a mobile key, touch-free room controls, and live chat with hotel employees. I also designed a self service kiosk that allows guests to quickly check-in to their room without human interaction.
